Just came back from a terrific conference on health coaching sponsored by Harvard Medical School and found it to be exhilarating.
As much as daily physical activity enhances our wellbeing in very tangible ways, so too can its polar opposite, inactivity – if we do it purposefully.
Asking ourselves challenging questions can be very empowering. It can be an especially powerful way to start the day.
Just the thought of keeping my “nose to the grindstone” is enough to make me cringe. Of course, it’s not advice which is meant to be taken literally, although it seems it was originally.
Anticipating our needs for the future (and planning for them) is essential for success. True achievement rarely happens without some deliberate effort on our part.
