Trusting Mondays

Mondays can be difficult.

For most of us, it can mean a day back to the daily grind. It’s no wonder the Mamas and Papas thought it was a day you couldn’t trust.

Of course, the fact that we even have jobs makes it hard to complain. It’s a ‘first world’ problem, as they say.

I can’t help but think of two guys I used to work with who had approaches to life that were as polar opposite as you can get.

The motto of one of these guys (actually, he was my boss) was “Life sucks and then you die.”

The philosophy of the other was “Today is another day in which to excel.”

Where are you on the attitude scale at this moment?
